@velacreations Thank you! Sorry I miss the mail notification (in my spam). Indeed that's what I did, I found some and that's what I put in my tank. Now I'm still waiting for the ~6 weeks period as I did a first test of 2 weeks (in winter, very cold) and it wasn't good, too slow, the cold and not enough worms. We'll see soon with extra insulation, the tank inside is not going lower than ~14 degree Celsius (and it's not the center of the tank).

I hope it will work out :)

@julien Find a horse stall or dairy or similar livestock facility near you with manure piles. Go see what's in those manure piles within the top 30 cm or so. Whatever is there is what will work in your area.

@admin Thanks Wendy, not from Ireland, only potential place I can order from is the UK, I'll give it a try but that's pricey! Around €60 for 1kg and I don't know in what state they'll arrive...

I have no experience with Dendrobaenas but theoretically they should be OK. Can you not get Eisenia foetida on places like eBay?

Hi Wendy, thank you for sharing your knowledge!

I'm putting 2 tanks in place (1 active and 1 in standby) to replace my septic tank (no percolation).

Around the IBC tanks I'm building a green house to keep the worms warmer and grow a few things.

I hope to get it up and running in 2 weeks ish!

Quick question for the worms, I can only get dendrobaenas in my area, do you know it they are good for this task?
